Impact
The Boys & Girls Club transforms lives by creating a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive. Through its innovative programs and dedicated mentors, it empowers children and teens to discover their potential, develop leadership skills, and cultivate lifelong friendships. Through academic support, sports, artistic pursuits, and teaching life skills, the Club fosters confidence and resilience, setting its members on a path to success and fulfillment.
Mental health is teens and tweens’ top issue and the area in which they feel their generation will make the most difference. Other top issues youth care about include: freedom of speech, racial justice, women’s rights and community violence.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America has annually surveyed our youth members nationwide since 2012. Survey respondents are youth from all different backgrounds, ethnicities and communities who share one thing in common — they participate in a Boys & Girls Club. This data supports more than 5,400 Boys & Girls Clubs in improving services to youth.
